The ambition of the Odyssey project is to radically change the optical design as well as manufacturing process for prescription eye-glass lenses.
Odyssey will introduce on-demand, ultra-thin and light-weight prescription eyeglasses, laser-printed in the shop while you wait.
The project runs for two years beginning in September 2020.
During the project period, the aim is to:
- Develop our business plan
- Demonstrate prototype prescription glasses
- Validate prototype prescription glasses with clients in the optician’s shop
- Specify product and supply chain for spin-out company.
